After extensive discussions with multiple universities, the University of Bolton has been chosen as one of the main contractors at GEM. Their role is central to the development of a bespoke Axial Flux Permanent Magnet (AFPM) generator, designed specifically to power our Aeolus 515 wind turbine. 

As the heart of every wind mill, this generator is being engineered with cutting-edge technology to maximise energy output from clean, renewable sources. By combining academic expertise with innovative design, the University of Bolton is helping us push the boundaries of efficiency and performance in renewable energy.

Sister is an innovation centre at the heart of the University of Manchester, dedicated to supporting startups like Green Energy Mills. Through our Tier One membership, we are fully integrated into their entrepreneurial ecosystem, connecting with ventures that share our mission and vision.

Alliance Manchester Business School(AMBS) is one of the oldest and most respected business schools in the UK, offering world-class education to undergraduates, postgraduates, and executives. For almost two years, GEM has been a case study at AMBS, explored across multiple modules and levels, contributing directly to our understanding of market research, validation, and readiness.
